 I had to bring a box the other day for one of my clubs at school. I decided to make it a little more interesting than a plain old shoebox, so I wrapped it with wrapping paper! I wrapped the top and bottom separately, and I thought it turned out really cute with all the birdies and clouds on it. Just wanted to share that. :)

This year, my math class doesn't have enough textbooks for a class set so we have to bring our books to and from school every day we have the class. And I figured the easiest way to carry it is to include handles! So I covered the book using an old paper bag, so it serves as a book cover and a case with handles. Covering is pretty easy to figure out; if you really need help, go on Youtube. :) There probably are how-to videos on how to cover a book, so follow that, except remember leave the top intact or else you won't have your handles!

My friends came over to my house today for a barbecue; it was SUPER FUN! Who doesn't like hanging out with friends? ;) Anyway, we got bored so we decided to draw on my kung fu shoes, and here's how it turned out.  ------>>>
I did the pink and blue one and my friend did the red and black. Pretty contrasting styles...
If you want to try this, all you need is a pair of cloth/canvas shoes, acrylic paint, and your creative juices put into use. :)

My friend told me about a website called "Stumbleupon" where you enter your interests which will then lead you to a ton of websites related to them. I totally forgot how I came across this short video-thing, but anyway, I found it SO funny!! I hope it works here...if not I'll be sad. :(

And her face ruins it all...

At the same sleepover with my friends when we baked our "chocolate bomb" muffins (go to Home on August 7th for a picture), we also had a wonderful hair-braiding 'party!' :D Leta's hair is so long it looks like Rapunzel hair...and my first instinct was to braid it. I mean, long and non-layered hair is the easiest to braid! The end result was a French braid from the top of the left side of her head to the bottom of the right side, which closely resembled a Katniss braid. The only difference was that it was a French braid rather than a Dutch braid. Nonetheless, it was beautiful!

And the best part was that she slept with the braid in so the next morning when she took it out, there were perfect curls in hair!

I recently came back from my trip to China and Hong Kong. When I went to Hong Kong, I pretty much bought everything I'll need (or want :P) for the entire year from pencil lead to clothes to souvenirs and gifts. And the coolest thing I bought for myself was a pair of pink Beats earbuds! I have no idea how it's so cheap but still looks real; I'm guessing it's either a really real-looking fake or defective. Converting back to USD, it was around $5. I don't think it's defective though because I've been using it a lot and the sound quality is pretty good!
